Scripture Sharing
Chris and Mike Yarosh lead our Scripture Sharing Sessions. They bring with them a lifetime of experience in Scripture Study. Mike and Chris are forever trying to encourage Cursillo involvement in our parish. (But that's another website.)
They present the Gospels in a way that teens can understand. Chris uses popular Christian songs to connect the teens with the Word of God. They say singing is praying twice. If that is true, Chris helps our teens praise the Lord in their own voice times two.
Once or twice a month, Chris and Mike take the floor during our NTV meeting. They read a passage from Sacred Scripture, play a song, and ask for a response from the group. We are always amazed at the student's understanding of the Word. They teach us so much about where they are and where they want to be in God's kingdom.
